Day Seventy-Nine

Please be sure to EMAIL me your blog address tonight! pattisonmej@hdsb.ca

Today I handed back assignments and current marks ... and then we finished watching 'The Bucket List'. Great film. Keep working on your own Bucket List ... the Performance Task starts tomorrow! Please decide where you plan to travel!

HOW TO SET UP YOUR BLOG:

Go to the Blogger website www.blogger.com/start

If you already have a gmail account, simply enter your information where requested.
If you don’t have a gmail account, click on the CREATE A BLOG (orange box).
You can use any email address to create your blogger account.
For a tutorial about how to start your blog, watch www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnploFsS_tY

1. Click on the Create Your Blog Now button.
2. Create a title for your blog and address (you will need to check for availability).
3. Verify the random word on the screen when prompted.
4. Click Continue.
5. Next, choose a template for your blog by clicking the circle next to the one you like (you can always change it later if you change your mind). Click Continue.
6. Your blog is now complete and ready for you to start adding information.
7. To test, click on Start Posting. You can edit your posts anytime.
8. To add photos to your blog, click on the Image Icon in the toolbar and follow the directions. Remember to reference any images you ‘borrow’ from the internet (you can do this in the text area … so easy!).
9. Remember that nothing you ‘publish’ is ever final. You can always go back and change (or add on to) your postings.
10. Go to Ms. Pattison’s blog and sign up as a Follower. This way I can monitor your progress and link to your final product. http://seethebigwideworld.blogspot.com
