Today you were all given your 'golden tickets' to travel to any country in the world. I was shocked to see 0 students in South America, and only 1 wanting to go to Africa! Europe seems to be a popular place ... so start thinking about the Eurofair project that will be happening very soon! Which European country do you want to represent?
We did a brief powerpoint intro to the Travel course and identified some of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. IMPORTANT: we reviewed our first important definition for 'tourist'. Do you remember what it is?
And finally, we talked money!... well, currency. You all did a great job trying to identify the 11 types of currency from around the world! Which did you think was the easiest/hardest?
